I am not authenticating Knots anymore (some fakes slipped by me), so maybe others will comment for you, For what it's worth, I see no glaring red flags on these 2.

although I also do not like to authenticate knot bags
these both look authentic to me
It is very hard to tell from pictures and the knot is the most pirated BV bag out there

It appears to only have the stamped letters BV and no other authentification? Seems too cheap?

I believe that indicates it came from a BV outlet. You'll need to ask the seller for the actual Bottega Veneta heat stamp and photos of the front and back of the white authenticity label that will be sewn into a seam in the zippered pocket inside.

There are NO "cheap" Bottega Veneta bags, FYI.

No question is stupid. If I'd been aware of the Purse Forum, I wouldn't have lost money on my first supposedly BV purchase--it turned out to be fake.

With this age BV bag, I would expect to find a white authenticity tag to be sewn into the bag (Usually inside a zippered pocket). If there is no tag I would be suspicious and not take a chance. But we'll wait and see if the seller posts pix of the tag and the heatstamp.
