Looks like authentic vintage BV to me. Seller's comments about the year of purchase and what the salesperson told him about the BV company are consistent with what I know about the company's history and the details of this bag.

Thanks guy! I went over to the boutique around my area, they were unaware there's a men's range which has green interior. It's the similar bag they are having with the light brownish interior now. Are they of the same range and price? Other than that, it's the same bag.

The lining colors change quite often, so maybe the newer model has a brown lining. If you can have the seller of the green lining bag check (on the back of the authenticity tag) the date it was manufactured, then you'll know its age to compare it to the brown lining one. Also, see if the style numbers and leathers are the same. I am not sure of the prices of the men's bags, though. :smile1:

How do i read this to determine the produuction date and model of bag?

This looks good to me. The style # is 16371. Last 4 numbers are color (Moro). The year of production has been added just in the last few years so maybe this is a bit older than when they began including the year.

They both look authentic and beautiful! My favorite BV color--Ebano.
