Hi, mille 428! Below are the format and the required pics that you probably already know. You can copy and paste the URL of the auction item page for "Working Link", and add other information.

5. outside views of all sides and bottom
6. views of hardware
7. mirror, both sides if applicable

I went to the auction site that you posted and saw one black campana. There are only 4 pics and not very clear. It would be great if you could ask the seller to add more and better pics on the auction page. Also, the site is in Danish I believe and it would be helpful if you could translate necessary information.

Comments: This is Montaigne, yes? What color is 6543? Any experience with this seller? Thanks very much, dear people!

Hi, CaliforniaGal :smile1: - this looks like an authentic Cardinal red montaigne. I haven't had any experience with this seller...maybe others will speak up...he's/she's sold some BV before...

I would like to see a clear close-up of the front of the authenticity tag, but right now it looks authentic... still want to make sure. Age?... not exactly sure, but probably not more than 8 years... could be newer.

the seller will not add any additional pics. she said they are excellent, so i'd like to hear your opinion, pls. thx in advance for all your help.

i really like bag, but i just bought a fake bag on ebay, and was just lucky to get my money back. so, i am really fearful.

may i get your thoughts?

Hi again,

one member asked for clearer pics of the front of the authenticity tag. seller says the pics are excellent and that's it. I'm so worried. I just bought a bottega on ebay and it was fake and i just got my money back. I am really nervous. Can u please help me? I get especially nervous when the seller doesnt want to provide a clearer pic.

Hi, the best advice I can give you is to pass on bidding if you feel nervous or feel you aren't connecting with the seller.

My sister has dealt personally with this seller, has had no problems with authenticity, and I believe this bag to be authentic. Baggiana is a noted long time authenticator and has asked for a picture that we do usually require for opinions (see post 1 in this thread) and it's a reasonable request. It's up to you what course of action to take :smile1:

P.S. Boxermom, another long time noted authenticator, also weighed in a page or two ago.

thanks so much.

seller said she's away but her "source" is beyond reproach. (I wish she just said she got this from someone that bought it at neiman's and not word "source". It is used bag. The last woman said she had source also and that sources was very credible. I think with her feedback she's insulted, but she wrote back saying that, and that even tags are replicated, they make such good fakes. But after this incident, and i got one that even had right zipper pulls, i dont know what to do.

i am really scared, because she could unknowingly get something from a source. after this happened, i ckd other things i bought on ebay, exp blahnik boots. still current. called neiman's because i saw the words "hand made" and not in caps. Thank g-d they said the small letters were on their boots.

i stupidly sold my bottega to a now ex-boyfriend at very low price (new, ) because his mom is almost blind, and wanted to "feel" how soft bag was. I got mine in neiman's. just wanted to replace it. i thought people only copied chanel, but they copy everything.

i know u cant really help me, but i appreciate any feedback. i just wish she would have taken the pic that this nice authentciator wanted, even when she's back tomorrow, and would not take as a personal insult.

dont know what to do. go nicley w/my boots. but she first coulnd't sell, then dropped price, she's been changing her mind alot.

:smile1: I wish I could give you a guarantee that everything would work out fine, but unfortunately I can't. BV is a designer that is copied but luckily most are easy to spot for our authenticators. This is one of the more unusual styles, but who knows? Another one could pop up on eBay or somewhere else by a highly recommended seller or purse forum member. Again, I do think it's authentic and have heard good things about seller...

I'd take my time if I were you and really enjoy the process of buying a bag from someone who wants to give you a great online experience. You shouldn't have to work so hard to buy a bag - that's the seller's job IMO :smile1:

Baggiana, Boxermom, Jburgh, Doloresmia...anyone have anything to add?

bubula, I agree with everything Miss_FancyBags said. The only 100% sure way to get an authentic bag is to buy from the designer's store or an authorized seller like Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks, or other authorized boutiques. There are some individual sellers that each of us learn through experience are trustworthy and it's been my experience that the best sellers are not insulted if you ask for a clearer photo or other information on details.

If several of us have said the bag is good, then there is a very good chance the bag is genuine. If you have any doubt or don't like the seller's attitude, then my advice would be to wait for another bag. Try not to get so attached to the idea of buying a specific bag that you make yourself unhappy in the process. Miss_Fancy said the same thing in her reply.

I hope this helps.

You ladies are absolute dears. i'm still recovering from the experience i suffered. i know this lady wants to sell the bag, but she should ,and i have told her why- i would appreciate the clearer pics. I also asked her not to take this personally. I missed another bag, but that seller actually directed me to a site to authenticate. Neiman's outlets "last call" sell too, but it's a hike. I had no idea the amount of replicas. I can't believe it, and basically the seller said the authentcitity tag wouldnt do me any good because the fraudulent tags are so good now, you can't tell. That was last email.
and I have not made a pia of myself. She knows I am not wasting her time, but she thinks she's getting alot of other inquiries, and noone is serious in buying. That was the first conversation I had with her. I just dont know. Have to think. Again, I was so lucky Paypal refunded my money, I'm just trying to do my due diligence thanks to you lovely dolls, and money isnt easy to come by, esp today's economy, and if the shoe were on the other foot, and I have sold some items, all of which I bought mostly at Bergdorf or Neiman's, I welcome questions even on low ticket items. I want people to feel comfortable about buying. Unfortunately, these fakers hurt legitimate people including myself. Ebay now has limits on how many top designers newer sellers can put on.
But when I do sell something, it's to only update my own closet.

i want to tell you again how lovely and what an absolutely wonderful group of woman you are, to help navigate these waters. I've been so naive. Just don't want to repeat same mistake.

Please, continue what you do. You are gifts. People can sleep at night. I had a terrible few weeks with my bad experience.

Thanks again all.
