The very oldest vintage BV's I haven't seen faked, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. Beginning in the 90's, I think they have tried to replicate the popular styles and sell them as genuine.

I defer to others with more experience than I have, though.

From what I can see, I look ok, but I want someone who is more familiar with this knot (this season) to weigh in. Is this the type of lining you would see in this knot, etc. I would also to see the lettering on the end caps of the knot.

this looks good, but ask the seller if they can post a clear photo of the font on the tip of the *knot* closure clasp. That's the only thing they haven't shown. You did see the defect, right? They mention it and one of the photos shows it.
