i love the color.
Thank you ladies for your time!

i asked more appropriate pictures and seller replied as

" I'm sorry there is no other tag. It is just the cardboard tag, no number on it. I think you should retract your bid. ThxSent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry"

what do you ladies think? i really love the color. this bag was 2008/2009 resort collection. did it come with any other tags?

Thank you!

As Miss_FancyBags said, the white authenticity tag is inside the zippered pocket and it's simple to take a photo of it. If the seller refuses to do this, consider if you run into any problem with shipping or damage and how the seller may respond. If the seller isn't cooperative at this stage of the process, then you have to decide if you want to have a transaction with him or her. My personal policy is if they are uncooperative now, I will wait for another bag. It's hard, I know, when you have your heart set on a bag. You are being perfectly reasonable to ask for the photo of the authenticity tag. We expect to see it for all bags made in the last 10+ years. The seller is being unreasonable IMO, but you can't force them to take that photo and post it.

Brought my clementine to Bottega boutique in Union square San Francisco, they refused to authenticate it citing it is their policy not to authenticate. Is this true the case for all designer boutiques? Brought one LV bag to a LV boutique once and they authenticated it right away.

First of all, welcome to the Purse Forum and BV! It's my understanding that many designer stores won't authenticate. In fact when I have asked questions about specific details of bag styles, they sometimes clam up and say it's their policy not to discuss authenticity-related subjects.

If you would like an opinion from our authenticators here, check post #1 in this thread for the photos that we require and we'll do our best to help you with your bag. It helps if you tell us where it was obtained and anything else you know about the bag, along with the photos mentioned in post #1.

i just got reply from the seller, he/she did find the white tag inside the zipped pocket. seller's reply: " 115654 v0013 3515
EPEV 2008 3686 B

THIS IS WHAT THE TAG SAYS INSIDE..THANK YOU FOR SHOWING ME WHERE IT WAS LOCATED.."

i guess the seller probably was not very familiar with BV bags, it seems to me the seller is reputable for Hermes bag.
anyway as you said i did ask for the picture of the white tag. hope it will all work out, and again thank you so much for your mindful reply and thank you for your time.

after the seller add pictures of the white tag i will post the again, please help me to authenticate it.

hi, welcome to the bv forum. please refer to the first post of this thread for list of pictures and quality we need for authentication. in the future we appreciate it when you get the pictures before asking for an opinion. as you already know from your post, there are insufficient pix of poor quality.
Thank you for the comment. The seller uploaded photos of the certificato and the BV tag. The listing has ended, the bag not sold, but I'm in contact with the seller if she's still willing to resell it.

Please advise if this is authentic. I really appreciate all your comments. Thanks!

Glad you were so insistent! It looks like a large mela veneta. Once the tag is posted, we can give a final opinion :smile1:

Hi, r0c3l - which auction was this for? We've had a busy few days with requests and I'm getting confused  Thank you! :smile1:

Welcome to the Purse Forum and to the BV section!

We use a standard format and we need to see specific photos of the bag that are not shown on the website you linked. If you read post #1 of this thread it will tell you all you need to ask the seller for so we can give you our best opinion about the authenticity of the bag.

Until we see additional photos, we can't authenticate, but from the 2 photos shown there are no obvious warning signs on this bag.

Hi, disclaimer: this seller is a friend. Ideally, we'd like to see a better picture of the Bottega Veneta plaque and pictures of the zipper pulls. I think this is bulgaro leather which is durable but not as soft as the woven leathers. I see no warning signs :smile1:
