Hello, Balenciaga bags sisterhood! Hope all has been well while I was away trying to get a hold of my life again.

I’m still in search of a dark red City (got a burgundy Work last year) and am not sure if the following one is worth it. I know chèvre is sought for, but it looks a bit too used for the price. Please advise about its authenticity and maybe condition. Thank you much in advance!

Item: Balenciaga Z Tag 2005 Bordeaux Burgundy Chèvre Leather Bag w/Mirror & Tassels

Missing a straight on photo of a bale, but everything else checks out.

Handles on the reds from 05 often get discolored, but these seem extreme to me. I can tell you that restoring them professionally (almost always by painting them) will run you about $300.

Thank you SO much! 💐 💝
My thoughts exactly about the handles. I just had no idea about the cost to restore them. If only the handles needing restoration, it wouldn't be too much, but if anything else, it can add up,

Hi authenticators, please let me know if this is authentic. I’m pretty sure but need to know 100%. This is a bag I bought a while ago but don’t love the color and reselling. Thank you in advance.

It doesn't feel painted compared to my other bags, how else can I tell? Here are a few other pics… the bag was said to be hardly used.
Normally the color will appear "off" if you're familiar with what it's supposed to look like. Paint bleeding on the lacing is pretty common too, which is the case here. Also, the leather inside the pocket shouldn't be lighter than the outside leather, which is the case here. Painting also changes the leather texture and knocks out any veining in the color and low and high lights.

I'm on the hunt for a blue first (hopefully in outremer). This one is more faded than the one I posted earlier, but the seller seems a bit more legit. Are there any red flags on this one? I'm SO grateful for your help!
