Before I ask for some more relevant images for authentication, please can you advise if this is possibly fake? It has been authenticated, but I am still not sure- the stitching on the tag is bothering me.

I’m amazed that you can tell it was painted. What are the signs of painting so I will know in the future? I did see a white one that was repainted but it looked mint green compared to the inside tag and it was obvious…

When you spend 20 years staring at countless Balenciaga bags, you get familiar with the shades and textures of the season's colors. This one is it the wrong shade and leather texture for cornflower. Closeups show it more clearly. Some take care not to paint over the lacing in the handles. Not this one.

Without commenting on authenticity (since @Deco addressed that issue) just wanted to point out the style is a Parttime and not a City, in case that makes a difference to what you're looking for.
