This bag is an authentic Vert Fonce Work bag.
In the future you can ask to see the rivets - it's the piece of metal on the back of the hardware - as well as close ups of the front/back of tag.
As @Conni618 mentioned, there are no bales on a work bag - those are only on bags with additional removable straps.

No bales with a Work bag. It would be best to have a clearer photo of the back of the leather tag to be completely confident, it looks good to me.

can you confirm authenticity for me (looked like everything is legit but i’d like the reassurance from this community).

i’d also love to know if there’s a way to identify what year this bag is from? i know there have been a few different years with whites but without a metal tag, i'm not sure if there’s a way to tell? any and all help appreciated. 🤍

Most obviously yes. It’s not possible to be certain with these limited photos about the bag itself, although I do see a red flag. However, I’m not expert in the covered hardware bags. You might want to take the essential authentication photos, and someone can help you.

Add to that, covered HW bags wouldn’t have a silver tag.
