He there! Please, I need any advise about this bag, because I have to make a decision until tomorrow. I have a big doubt about the serial number. It doesn’t match on the both sides and stamp is very asymmetrical, isn’t it?

Hey everyone,

Wondering if this is a defect in the bag manufacturing or a fake?

I purchased this 2013 S/S City Bag from a site with a team that says the bag is completely authentic. The front side of the bag split open at the top, which made me notice that it has zero stitching where the two pieces of leather meet, just glue. The other side, however, has stitching along the top.

Can anyone give me any insight if this is possible for Balenciaga to have completely missed stitching this side. I took it into a reputable leatherworker in my town and got opinions from the workers that it was authentic. They believe Balenciaga made a mistake here. Here are photos of the item, you can see there is no stitching along the top of the front side. I included some more that might help authenticate:smile:

What do you think?

Can you include photos of a couple of the rivets? It helps when the pics are full-sized, thanks.
