It is an authenticator’s right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format. If the listing you are interested in is missing photos it is your responsibility to request them from the seller prior to posting in this thread.

Hello! May I ask for your help with authenticating this bag? It’s listed on Depop with no details/specifics when it was purchased, which season from etc, beside the color - grey. I’m attaching the link with all the pictures the seller provided. I asked for pictures of the tag both front and back, but was only sent the back. I haven’t purchased any Balenciaga City bags so I don’t really know how to spot an inauthentic bag, but I think the tag is off? If it’s a grey bag why there is a number 1000? Don’t 1000 stand for black color?

Of the pics present I don't see anything obviously off, but when you get everything you can repost (referencing your post #.)
Yes, your research is correct, black is 1000, so I think the seller mislabeled the color- sometimes black can appear grayish.
The B on the tag indicates Spring/Summer 2017.

does this look like a mini city to you? the serial number is for a mini, but photos look like regular city.

Press for a photo of the front of the tag. The back of the tag is off, like it was taken from a different bag altogether.

I think it's a regular city in gray, in contrary to what the tag says. I'll ask once again for the front pic.
But is there a chance that the bag is legit but they somehow mismatched the label? a factory anomaly or a scam?

I’ve never seen that happen, so I think it’s unlikely.

I echo @muchstuff. Unlikely that the factory would have bungled the tag so thoroughly. Even if it did happen, there would be no reason for the seller not to show the front of the tag. The tag anomaly coupled with no photo of the front of the tag is too many red flags.
