Thanks and be well!

Are we assuming the bag's been re-coloured? I don't like the look of the tag, the accent is in the wrong place in "fabrique" .
Hello! Thanks for the reply. She didnt mention that it was recolored but she did send other pics that appear to be way lighter. I thought it was just the lighting. Thank you for the input. Won’t be going ahead with buying it 💕

Ah, OK the colour isn't an issue then. I'm still not comfortable with the tag, anyone else? @atlantis1982 / @Deco ?

Agree. Misplaced accent is concerning. It also has the O at the end. Did Bal ship its oops bags to the outlet? It seems strange to be so careless with the accent but conscientious enough to declare it’s an outlet bag.
The O is too small compared to outlet bags we’ve seen.

Looking to authenticate this Balenciaga Velo. I'm suspicious about the black tag, which does not have the "made in Italy" stamp on the back. the hardware also looked a little sketchy with some of it showing silver on parts of it. Haven't seen this before but wasn't sure if it was just natural wear.

Your tag front is blurred and I can see what looks like the MADE IN ITALY stamp, try pulling the leather lower.

We'd need clearer pics of the tags, but I do see a Made in Italy wayyy at the bottom.

I know -- horrible shot! I'm amazed you both could even see that much. I don't have the bag at the moment. It's on hold for me at a local consignment shop. I took the photos while in the shop because the bag is non-returnable if I purchase it.

EDIT--- I will go to the shop tomorrow and look at the tag again. Thank you.

Nothing’s screaming fake to me, but better pics would be ideal.
agreed! I will go back to the shop tomorrow and have a closer look. My sense is that the bag is so well used (or well-loved, depending on your point of view) that the tag was pulled down in a way that I couldn't fully grasp it and snap a photo of it.

Thank you for the confirmation on the other parts of the bag. If the "made in italy" stamp is there, I will likely buy it.

I think you'll be OK.
