IMPORTANT READ-ME

Please see post #1 for complete Balenciaga authentication rules. All requests must be posted in this thread. Authentications are not done via private message or in any other thread.

See the link below for examples of the photos needed and the format they should be in (clear, close up, forward-facing, no angles, right way up, no bends in tags).

https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/required-pics-for-balenciaga-authentication.741442/

A link to the listing in question is required.

It is an authenticator’s right to ignore a request that is not in the proper format. If the listing you are interested in is missing photos it is your responsibility to request them from the seller prior to posting in this thread.

Thanks and be well!

Oh forgive me. Fixed!
The rivets look a bit off to me. They look wider and more rounded than any of my bags from the same era. Anyone else want to comment ?
Between that and the tag being off I'm going to say that I can't authenticate, even though everything else seems to be OK. Try taking that info to TRR, you would have a difficult time reselling with that tag anyway.

Doing a little research on bags from F/W 2010 and I found this castagna City on Yoogi's that has a rivet similar in appearance.

My best guess is that @sabinedoggie's bag is probably authentic. Whomever did the number embossing on the underside could have forgotten the last 8 in the 115748 and started to do the color code of Seigle (which begins with a 2, hence the 2 where the 8 should be).

It does look similar. I agree, the seigle is likely authentic. Thanks!

Balenciaga The City Handbag Shoulder Bag Black Leather

I have asked the seller for additional pictures to include the back of the tag. I am not experienced with authenticating or buying a lot of Balenciaga. There is a scratch, but I am more concerned about the white circle mark on the bottom left. I have looked on the forums to see if I saw any restorations of any similar marks, but I can't find anything. The seller doesn't know what it's from. It would be nice to purchase a Z tag for a low price if I can... Any advice?

Not authentic, sorry.
