Hello! Hope it's okay to repost with the correct pics now that I received the bag!

Seller said it was his father’s. The leather feels supple and the colour is faded. First four are seller pics and the rest are mine. Anyone know what the colour name?

p.s i noticed some flaking on the underside of the zipper seam. It seems like hide? Is this common with leather bags and is it due to age? Another kind user dated this as 2005-2009.

And yes it's normal for the edges to get dry and flake, sadly. You can check out the Care & Maintenance thread https://forum.purseblog.com/forums/balenciaga-care-and-maintenance.111/ for a lot of great tips. (IMO a good coat of leather conditioner will really revitalize the color.)
As for color, the seller's pics made me think black, but your pics make me think anthracite.
Any other authenticators care to chime in?

Looks fine to me, the O at the end of the first line on the tag back indicates an outlet bag as far as we know.

I purchased some Balenciaga items from online consignment store, but I suspect they might be fake. Could you please give me your opinion?
