Craquele feels mostly like suede, there is a soft, drape-y hand feel with a very slight roughness due to the imbedded metallic. The handles are super nice to hold as the leather is soft and conforms around your hand.

Monk is stiffer and has a more textured feel where the leather is thinner than craquele (not to say that it's not strong). The handles definitely feel like unfinished suede in that it's not quite there yet but you get the idea. The smell of this leather is divine though with a smokiness to it.

Here's a comparison of the craquele city and monk first for comparison. You can see the pore differences when zoomed in.

I had the chance to purchase a craquele two or three times, but always hesitated...:smash:
And yours is in excellent shape, too. Not jealous AT ALL, lol.
