No, not as the only number - off cause the Style number is: 128523
But as I recall, it is only the city which has diverging serial numbers over the seasons? But I could be wrong, since I have not been collecting this year - and things might have changed??

It's amazing what I'll do to avoid doing bills and laundry...
The numbers do change apparently. Here's a shot of an authentic twiggy that recently sold on ebay.

Can anyone please confirm, that the Twiggy still only comes with serial number 3444?

3444 is the number that comes either before or after the style number on the back of the bag for a number of bags - city, twiggy, etc. sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not. if you ever see a bag with 3555 or 3666 it's fake.
your twiggy is authentic.

Have you tried the Bal reference section? LOTS of info in there to help with questions like this. You might want to read up. 3444 is one of correct Twiggy number, though I personally have an ivory Twiggy with a different number (it was checked out here and it is authentic no doubt)

Provide clear pix of tags inside - top and bottom, bales, rivets, buckles, front and back of bag. The white tags (all the paper tags if you have them) and extra tassels.The more pictures the better.

This looks fine to me. I'm 99% sure it's authentic. I'd need a shot of the back of the leather tag, and a straight on pic of the bale, to be absolutely certain.
