Hi I got my city recently. I noticed my bag have the same number behind the tag with #girllovespurple but different number on the front tag. Mine is N. 04246

the number you should pay attention to is
E(Season)115748(Style) which means F/W 2015 City.
It's a good sign that both metal and back of leather tag has matching E and 115748. This also should match the paper tag that comes with the new authentic bag. The paper tag should start with Year/Season(1 or 3)/Hardware style/probably seasonal color code. Your should be 2015/3/D94JT/xxxx

The number that typically start with N is thought to be some sort of leather batch or serial number and does not have to match with other numbers on the bag. I believe number 1000 means black leather color. Also if you want the authenticators to take better look, you should upload more

I also posted my new Spring 2015 city bag here for authentication but as I navigated through the web for few days I learned a lot about the details and started to recognize fakes from the real one haha now I feel pretty confident about city bag produced after 2014.

This really is not a "serial number." 115748 is simply the model number for a city. There is some speculation as to what the 1000 is (I have seen them on black bags; however it is disputed as to whether it truly indicates color). E is F/W 2015 and 1669 means...who knows? :smile1: But it is common.
Please don't worry until an authenticator can give an opinion.

The bag attached is from a reputable asian seller (reebonz.com), but the back tag is a bit different from my old pt. Anyone can confirm if this is OK?

I did won this auction but the seller was not ok with the price and tried to let me pay almost 4 times the price. But even Paypal did not allow this. Contacted the lady several times but she keep saying it s e-bay fault. But i contacted them. And now she realisten it again.
