Closer pic of bale in correct orientation, as well as clear rivet pic might help. The tag is worrisome, but need more information.
EDIT: Took a closer look at second photo. Portion of bale on the left looks off.

Thanks for replying, the seller says she has contacted Balenciaga who say the Firsts had leather or silver tag, im not convinced as ive done my research and it dosnt add up since she said she was bought it as a gift 4 years ago...ive looked through reference on this site which says silver tag so it sent alarm bells straight away! i haven't asked for any further pics as i just have that feeling its a good fake. You are welcome. Under the circumstances, I have to agree. Leather tag was only released on very early Firsts, and they don't look like this tag, or this bag for that matter.
The possibility that Balenciaga has "accidentally," released an oddity, is why I try to have an open mind. However, the remaining authentication features need to be circumspect in order to do this.
Yes i heard the same that the very early ones may have had leather tag but im sure it wouldnt look in this perfect condition... I may be wrong like you said as i have an open mind to but to be honest without further inspection and guarantees id rather not take the chance. Thankyou so much again for your replies... The back of this plate looks wired. I mean not like others.
And there isn't any number on the side of this bag. Not sure about this.

Ideally we like to see a rivet photo. This bag is being offered by a reputable seller, and everything else is "spot-on." I'd be confident purchasing it.
