there is no way of telling what year exactly that bag is from without the white paper tag. also, it's very obvious that if it's peeling and the color underneath is different then it has been dyed and not disclosed. You need to file a claim with ebay, you will get your money back. Go to the ebay forum here and post this on there, those ladies will be able to tell you the best way to handle this. good luck.

I realize this is a random question but can anyone tell me if the number "0261D" on the inside tag of a green First could possibly be a valid number? Sorry I don't have any more info than this.

We have seen this bag before, and, unfortunately, there is a lot wrong in these pictures. The metal tag looks like it is on a light colored bag in these pictures, and the back of the tag would indicate that it is black but not from the year indicated on the front. If you purchased this one, we will need to see detailed pictures when you receive it.
