One way I have found to identify an authentic scarf is to look at the nose of the skull above the Alexander McQueen logo. The nose on an authentic scarf will have a point and will slant to the left. The edge on the silk scarf will be slightly jagged. This is from how the edges are rolled and stitched in place.

The edges, label, signature and skulls don't look right. I know zappos and 6pm do not carry fake, but I wonder if they got a bad batch or someone returned a fake to them. Attached are 4 pictures.
