After some slight research I think the attached tag looks "off" when compared to my authentic Tudor rose. In addition the seller has another McQueen scarf listed that happens to have the EXACT same tag numbers and name as this one. I find it unlikely both are called "SL Sparkling God Sav Chiffon". Am I right?

Possibly, and I'd like more weigh in (GnB??) but I didn't see anything that bothered me, including the tag. Now, I have a SMALL netbook so the tag numbers I couldn't really see and I didn't look at the seller's other items..

I DID look at the seller's past items and, while much smaller in $$, could be a recently new mother purging. I DO like that there are LOTS of pics of each scarf (I went back and looked at other items). Scammers don't usually go to that length. The fact that they are LEs are in your favor too...

JMHO, wait for others...Beautiful scarves, all of them.

The thing that bothers me is that she has a "God Save McQueen" one in an entirely different print and color but the hanging tags attached have the exact same style name, code numbers, and style numbers. Does that happen a lot with McQueen?

I see what you see now (bigger, work computer) re: the tag....Def. odd, but the one you are interested in doesn't have the tag attached to the care tag, so maybe she didn't realize it was the wrong one? Not making excuses, but everything else looks good to me.

Something else to remember, there is a McQueen outlet in Europe ( :crybaby:) and these might have come from there, since she had 2 to sell (which is usually a bad sign)...

So I spoke to the seller about my concerns. She is out of the country and couldn't provide additional pictures of the tags. She said she would return to the UK on Aug 11th and then send me pictures. If I was still interested she would lower the BIN to the original agreed upon best offer price. I guess I'm going to pick up a classic skull scarf in the meantime and wait around. However her willingness to be friendly and work things out i think indicates good things? I wish someone else could chime in on it since the weird font o. The sewn on tag does other me. Another tpfer I Messaged said the hanging tag could just be an incorrectly attached tag but gosh eBay is such a scary place now!
