CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN AUTHENTICITY QUESTIONS GO HERE.

****

FIRST, PLEASE DO A SEARCH BY SELLER NAME OR ITEM NUMBER TO SEE IF YOUR QUESTION HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED.
This is not a thread to ask general questions about CL, please refer to our main CL forum for information about sizing, seasons, etc.

IF THE AUCTION/SHOES HAVE NOT YET BEEN AUTHENTICATED, POST HERE.

This is a free service, so it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format. PLEASE LEAVE A SPACE AFTER THE COLONS.

PLEASE LIMIT YOUR REQUESTS TO THREE (3) PER POST.

FOR AUCTION SITES:

Item: xxxx
Listing number: xxxx
Seller: xxxx
Link: xxxx
Comments: xxxx

If the shoes in question are
NOT ON AN AUCTION SITE, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
Link (if available):
Seller:
Comments:
Please give us as much information as you can and then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos).

This format to prevent duplication requests and to make it simpler for people to 'search' for items which may have been posted previously. If you feel that your post has been skipped, you may repost but please copy and paste the ORIGINAL LINK, do not just copy and paste the link from your post.

Please post ALL of the following photos to insure ACCURATE authentication:

ON A HARD SURFACE, NOT A BED OR CARPETING ;*We need to see the ENTIRE shoe, not a cropped portion.

PROFILE: this is a shot of the entire side of the shoe, and should be taken straight on, NOT from above or below
BACK
FRONT
LABEL/LOGO inside the shoe
SOLE 1: a clear close-up shot of the logo/size stamp, preferably no flash
(a macro lens is best for this shot &; it's the flower icon on your camera)
SOLE 2: a shot of the entire sole
BOOTS: Please do your best to get a clear shot of the label inside the boot. This can be tricky, but it can be done.

SNEAKERS: For sneakers good quality close-ups of the following details are required:

SIZE STAMP
CL LOGO ON THE INSOLE
& MADE IN& STAMP ON THE OUTSOLE
CL STAMP ON THE OUTSOLE

AUTHENTICATORS: Please utilize the "QUOTE" feature when responding directly to another post. Please do not publicly post details about why you think an item is or is not authentic, sellers of fakes have been known to lurk here and we would not want to help them.

Should one of YOUR items be questioned in this thread, you are welcome to provide additional pictures or materials supporting its authenticity. DO NOT handle disputes with other members in this thread &; take your differences to Private Messages.
****Failure to do so can result in BANNING.****

Item Name: CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN Strass Metallic Pumps
Link: https://www.therealreal.com/product...boutin-strass-metallic-pumps-753oz?position=4
Seller: The RealReal
Comments: description states Fifi but I'm sure it's Ron Ron. The RealReal used to be great with their authenticity but lately I've been seeing some fakes so I wanted to be sure these were good.
Also do you think the strass was DIY or original?

Thank you!

Hey guys,
Was hoping to get these authenticated. I got them from TheRealReal. Appreciate the help!

Item Name (if you know it): Bianca 120
Link (if available): https://www.therealreal.com/product...tian-louboutin-bianca-120-leather-pumps-7stqd
Seller: TheRealReal
Comments: I compared them against my authentic pair (different style) and they seem to check out, but it's hard to tell since they are pre-worn. What makes me most concerned is the logo on the insole isn't crystal clear (a little smudged) and some of it is worn off. Not sure if thats a sign of it being a fake or if it's just from increased wear.

Item: Christian Louboutin Suzi Folk 85 Boot
Link: Poshmark Listing
Seller: effycloset
Comments: I purchased these, received them, and am uncertain if they're authentic, I've compared them to authentic ones I own and am on the fence. Poshmark said they were authentic but they're known for not being super reliable for authentication and now want me to send them back so they can send them to a third party authenticator. The dustbag also screams fake at me.

@nillacobain

I'm not Nillacobain, but if you don't mind my assistance.

They are authentic. Comparing them to other pairs you have will drive you insane, keep in mind CLs are handmade and inconsistencies are typical of the brand. Also, never judge authenticity by the dust bag or shoe box.

Authentic. FYI, don't compare pairs, it'll only drive you crazy. Keep in mind CLs are handmade and they all have subtle differences.
