CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN AUTHENTICITY QUESTIONS GO HERE.

****

FIRST, PLEASE DO A SEARCH BY SELLER NAME OR ITEM NUMBER TO SEE IF YOUR QUESTION HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED.
This is not a thread to ask general questions about CL, please refer to our main CL forum for information about sizing, seasons, etc.

IF THE AUCTION/SHOES HAVE NOT YET BEEN AUTHENTICATED, POST HERE.

This is a free service, so it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format. PLEASE LEAVE A SPACE AFTER THE COLONS.

PLEASE LIMIT YOUR REQUESTS TO THREE (3) PER POST.

FOR AUCTION SITES:

Item: xxxx
Listing number: xxxx
Seller: xxxx
Link: xxxx
Comments: xxxx

If the shoes in question are
NOT ON AN AUCTION SITE, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
Link (if available):
Seller:
Comments:
Please give us as much information as you can and then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos).

This format to prevent duplication requests and to make it simpler for people to 'search' for items which may have been posted previously. If you feel that your post has been skipped, you may repost but please copy and paste the ORIGINAL LINK, do not just copy and paste the link from your post.

Please post ALL of the following photos to insure ACCURATE authentication:

ON A HARD SURFACE, NOT A BED OR CARPETING ;*We need to see the ENTIRE shoe, not a cropped portion.

PROFILE: this is a shot of the entire side of the shoe, and should be taken straight on, NOT from above or below
BACK
FRONT
LABEL/LOGO inside the shoe

(a macro lens is best for this shot &; it's the flower icon on your camera)
SOLE 2: a shot of the entire sole
BOOTS: Please do your best to get a clear shot of the label inside the boot. This can be tricky, but it can be done.

SNEAKERS: For sneakers good quality close-ups of the following details are required:

SIZE STAMP
CL LOGO ON THE INSOLE
& MADE IN& STAMP ON THE OUTSOLE
CL STAMP ON THE OUTSOLE

AUTHENTICATORS: Please utilize the "QUOTE" feature when responding directly to another post. Please do not publicly post details about why you think an item is or is not authentic, sellers of fakes have been known to lurk here and we would not want to help them.

Should one of YOUR items be questioned in this thread, you are welcome to provide additional pictures or materials supporting its authenticity. DO NOT handle disputes with other members in this thread &; take your differences to Private Messages.

Comments: All the hallmarks look right, but I've never seen a pair with this style of heel. I can't identify the style, and the seller has no feedback. And any auction that includes "authentic" in the title makes me suspicious.
Lol, I know what you mean about "Authentic!"
The style is called Altanana, so that seems legit.

I'll leave it to one of the authenticators for the final word though!

Not sure where the officials are but if time is important:
I am NOT an authenticator, but please reconsider these. I would not buy them, they appear to me to be fakes.

Thank you! Yes after I posted these I started comparing and thought the stitching looked terrible on the heel portion. Ugh she was guaranteeing they were authentic![emoji23]. So glad I didn't purchase!

hi guys, please help. I just bought these from a very popular consignment shop on Instagram. Before i bought these, i bought the same exact pair from Saks to see if the fit was right as well as to compare if it's real once i got my shoes i bought from the consignor. Now, i am not a professional when it comes to authenticating CL's as i only own 1 pair, nor do i go to the shops to see/touch/try it on often. Here are some pics that i thought was odd compare to the New Very Prive 120 from Saks. Now these proof may be obvious but i am still asking because i'm not sure, does CL's all different when they are made??

1st pic- the stamping logo appears to be too low. the oragne line i drew is where it should sit like the one i got from saks.
2nd pic- Stamping is very faded/ not prominent
3rd pic - the "out" letters from Louboutin appears to look cramped compare to the real one you can read each letter clearly.
4th- the shoes had bunch of these tiny frays all around the shoes.
5th - comparison of the left (consigner ) vs Right (Saks) see how to logo sits.
6th - Real CL's from Saks. Note the stamping is prominent and you can read it with no fading.
Please advise!

Hi ladies! I'm so happy I found this thread! I just purchased my first pair of Christian Louboutins Alti 160 spike nude in 39 1/2. I received them today and now I'm questioning their authenticity. I was so excited but now the inside sole and outer sole has me questioning. Note: after mentioning this to the seller, the seller did mentioned she repainted the shoes due to scuffs. Please Help!
