CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN AUTHENTICITY QUESTIONS GO HERE.

****

FIRST, PLEASE DO A SEARCH BY SELLER NAME OR ITEM NUMBER TO SEE IF YOUR QUESTION HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED.
This is not a thread to ask general questions about CL, please refer to our main CL forum for information about sizing, seasons, etc.

IF THE AUCTION/SHOES HAVE NOT YET BEEN AUTHENTICATED, POST HERE.

This is a free service, so it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format. PLEASE LEAVE A SPACE AFTER THE COLONS.

PLEASE LIMIT YOUR REQUESTS TO THREE (3) PER POST.

FOR AUCTION SITES:

Item: xxxx
Listing number: xxxx
Seller: xxxx
Link: xxxx
Comments: xxxx

If the shoes in question are
NOT ON AN AUCTION SITE, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
Link (if available):
Seller:
Comments:
Please give us as much information as you can and then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos).

This format to prevent duplication requests and to make it simpler for people to 'search' for items which may have been posted previously. If you feel that your post has been skipped, you may repost but please copy and paste the ORIGINAL LINK, do not just copy and paste the link from your post.

Please post ALL of the following photos to insure ACCURATE authentication:

ON A HARD SURFACE, NOT A BED OR CARPETING ;*We need to see the ENTIRE shoe, not a cropped portion.

PROFILE: this is a shot of the entire side of the shoe, and should be taken straight on, NOT from above or below
BACK
FRONT
LABEL/LOGO inside the shoe

(a macro lens is best for this shot &; it's the flower icon on your camera)
SOLE 2: a shot of the entire sole
BOOTS: Please do your best to get a clear shot of the label inside the boot. This can be tricky, but it can be done.

SNEAKERS: For sneakers good quality close-ups of the following details are required:

SIZE STAMP
CL LOGO ON THE INSOLE
& MADE IN& STAMP ON THE OUTSOLE
CL STAMP ON THE OUTSOLE

AUTHENTICATORS: Please utilize the "QUOTE" feature when responding directly to another post. Please do not publicly post details about why you think an item is or is not authentic, sellers of fakes have been known to lurk here and we would not want to help them.

Should one of YOUR items be questioned in this thread, you are welcome to provide additional pictures or materials supporting its authenticity. DO NOT handle disputes with other members in this thread &; take your differences to Private Messages.

Hi all,

I received my preloved Biancas in the mail today with box, and receipts...So no active listing to post but I do have my own pictures. While the quality seems great, there are a few differences between the Biancas and my authentic shoes that are definitely making me question if they are real. Would you please help me/educate me while I’m still able to return them? I’m providing plenty of pictures for the detective work!

Here’s the info about my shoes. Luckily my two auth pairs have similarities with the Biancas that they can hopefully provide better comparison. I’m highlighting in red what I think are the biggest differences. I understand that since CLs are handmade, certain details can vary.

  • New Very Prive 120 Black Patent - Authentic, purchased Sept.’15 in West Hollywood
  • Bianca 140 Nude Patent - ?????, “purchased” May 2014 via ChristianLouboutin.com
  • Pigalle 100 Nude Patent - Authentic, purchased Dec. ’15 in Paris

Box - All 3 labels are kind of different, but Bianca box font weight seems a little uneven/inconsistent. Noticeable gloss to the top white embossed label, whereas my auth shoes are more matte. Box itself appears slightly lighter than the auth boxes.

Red sole - Color/sheen match fine. Paint is even. CL signature stamp is pressed harder, 39 is also more pressed and looks like a different font than the others.

Patent leather + Stitching - Quality seems on par with other 2. Can’t tell any difference between stitching. Nude color looks like a 99% match to my Pigalles except it appears a touch warmer? My Pigalles look cooler.

Receipts - Since I’ve only purchased in store, I don’t know the differences in what printed materials come with shoes that were bought online. So I’m hoping this is a dead giveaway for some who have. Invoice looks like it’s printed on inkjet paper, the logo seems pretty low quality and pixelated. I’ve edited out the seller’s personal info out of courtesy… Anyway, the envelope/cards that came seem pretty believable with gloss on the red heel logo.

Thank you so much for your help!

Your research is impressive! In order to properly authenticate though, could you please post photos as requested on page 1? Thanks.
