CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN AUTHENTICITY QUESTIONS GO HERE.

****

FIRST, PLEASE DO A SEARCH BY SELLER NAME OR ITEM NUMBER TO SEE IF YOUR QUESTION HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED.
This is not a thread to ask general questions about CL, please refer to our main CL forum for information about sizing, seasons, etc.

IF THE AUCTION/SHOES HAVE NOT YET BEEN AUTHENTICATED, POST HERE.

This is a free service, so it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format. PLEASE LEAVE A SPACE AFTER THE COLONS.

PLEASE LIMIT YOUR REQUESTS TO THREE (3) PER POST.

FOR AUCTION SITES:

Item: xxxx
Listing number: xxxx
Seller: xxxx
Link: xxxx
Comments: xxxx

If the shoes in question are
NOT ON AN AUCTION SITE, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
Link (if available):
Seller:
Comments:
Please give us as much information as you can and then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos).

This format to prevent duplication requests and to make it simpler for people to 'search' for items which may have been posted previously. If you feel that your post has been skipped, you may repost but please copy and paste the ORIGINAL LINK, do not just copy and paste the link from your post.

Please post ALL of the following photos to insure ACCURATE authentication:

ON A HARD SURFACE, NOT A BED OR CARPETING ;*We need to see the ENTIRE shoe, not a cropped portion.

PROFILE: this is a shot of the entire side of the shoe, and should be taken straight on, NOT from above or below
BACK
FRONT
LABEL/LOGO inside the shoe
SOLE 1: a clear close-up shot of the logo/size stamp, preferably no flash
(a macro lens is best for this shot &; it's the flower icon on your camera)
SOLE 2: a shot of the entire sole
BOOTS: Please do your best to get a clear shot of the label inside the boot. This can be tricky, but it can be done.

SNEAKERS: For sneakers good quality close-ups of the following details are required:

SIZE STAMP
CL LOGO ON THE INSOLE
& MADE IN& STAMP ON THE OUTSOLE
CL STAMP ON THE OUTSOLE

AUTHENTICATORS: Please utilize the "QUOTE" feature when responding directly to another post. Please do not publicly post details about why you think an item is or is not authentic, sellers of fakes have been known to lurk here and we would not want to help them.

Should one of YOUR items be questioned in this thread, you are welcome to provide additional pictures or materials supporting its authenticity. DO NOT handle disputes with other members in this thread &; take your differences to Private Messages.
****Failure to do so can result in BANNING.****

After consulting with our other authenticators, the first pair is good as well.

I bought three pair of CLs off Tradesy before I learned of this forum and thread. First-time second-hand CL buyer; I just couldn't stop after I got a pair of patent black Dorissimas earlier this year from Saks. I have only received the first two pair of the Tradesy three so far, so here they are. I'll post the third when it comes in the post tomorrow.

Item Name (if you know it): Hyper Prive in Yellow Satin
Link (if available): https://www.tradesy.com/shoes/christian-louboutin-yellow-pumps-5446564/
Seller: Full Circle Fashion (https://www.tradesy.com/closet/1554858/)
Comments:
A little worn on the soles but in otherwise good condition; not very worried about this pair, so fingers crossed! (Also, sorry about the horizontal orientation on vertical pics; it was fine on my camera and computer, and then when I uploaded them they reverted to landscape. Not sure how to fix that...)

Pair 2/3 from Tradesy.

Item Name (if you know it): Metal Patent Rouge Biancas
Link (if available): https://www.tradesy.com/shoes/christian-louboutin-leather-platform-metal-patent-rouge-pumps-1384603/
Seller: Chloespeaks (https://www.tradesy.com/closet/1535746/)
Comments:
These I'm a little concerned about just because of the soles. The stitching looks good, the stamp and insole look good, the patent leather feels as quality as my Saks-bought Dorissimas, but the soles are a little rougher around the edges and a bit more gapey than I'd expect for CLs, even used. I provided closeups of the areas giving me pause (attachments 8-10). Thanks!
PS: Seller did tell me when I asked about the soles that she had worn them down, but relacquered them to sell better, hence the rough but still red look on the front half of the soles.
