CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN AUTHENTICITY QUESTIONS GO HERE.

****

FIRST, PLEASE DO A SEARCH BY SELLER NAME OR ITEM NUMBER TO SEE IF YOUR QUESTION HAS ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED.
This is not a thread to ask general questions about CL, please refer to our main CL forum for information about sizing, seasons, etc.

IF THE AUCTION/SHOES HAVE NOT YET BEEN AUTHENTICATED, POST HERE.

This is a free service, so it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format. PLEASE LEAVE A SPACE AFTER THE COLONS.

PLEASE LIMIT YOUR REQUESTS TO THREE (3) PER POST.

FOR AUCTION SITES:

Item: xxxx
Listing number: xxxx
Seller: xxxx
Link: xxxx
Comments: xxxx

If the shoes in question are
NOT ON AN AUCTION SITE, please use the following:

Item Name (if you know it):
Link (if available):
Seller:
Comments:
Please give us as much information as you can and then attach any photos (all authentication must include photos).

This format to prevent duplication requests and to make it simpler for people to 'search' for items which may have been posted previously. If you feel that your post has been skipped, you may repost but please copy and paste the ORIGINAL LINK, do not just copy and paste the link from your post.

Please post ALL of the following photos to insure ACCURATE authentication:

ON A HARD SURFACE, NOT A BED OR CARPETING ;*We need to see the ENTIRE shoe, not a cropped portion.

PROFILE: this is a shot of the entire side of the shoe, and should be taken straight on, NOT from above or below
BACK
FRONT
LABEL/LOGO inside the shoe
SOLE 1: a clear close-up shot of the logo/size stamp, preferably no flash
(a macro lens is best for this shot &; it's the flower icon on your camera)
SOLE 2: a shot of the entire sole
BOOTS: Please do your best to get a clear shot of the label inside the boot. This can be tricky, but it can be done.

SNEAKERS: For sneakers good quality close-ups of the following details are required:

SIZE STAMP
CL LOGO ON THE INSOLE
& MADE IN& STAMP ON THE OUTSOLE
CL STAMP ON THE OUTSOLE

AUTHENTICATORS: Please utilize the "QUOTE" feature when responding directly to another post. Please do not publicly post details about why you think an item is or is not authentic, sellers of fakes have been known to lurk here and we would not want to help them.

Should one of YOUR items be questioned in this thread, you are welcome to provide additional pictures or materials supporting its authenticity. DO NOT handle disputes with other members in this thread &; take your differences to Private Messages.

Hi, I am very new to this site, so please let me know if there's anything else that I need to do to facilitate this authenticating procedure.

I just purchased this pair of Louboutins on eBay without a second thought... I have them on my hands now, and I am very worried that they are not authentic because the texture of the shoes is weird. The seller told me that the shoes are authentic; but comparing to other Louboutins that I bought from the boutique, they just don't look right to me especially the red bottoms. I plan to bring them to Louboutin's boutique and ask them to verify, but I am just too busy to do it right away... Please authenticate them for me. Thank you so much!

Authentic. Please read Laureen's thread, it will clear some of your doubts.

Dear experts, your help would be greatly appreciated in authenticating these shoes ! I'd be immensely grateful. Thanks in advance.

Item: Louboutin Catenitas
Seller: Second-hand shop in Paris
Comments: everything about them seem off, fake and poor quality overall. There are lots of stains on the leather, the finishing is poorly made, the red sole is matte not shiny at all. They are also extremely light. They look nothing like the authentic pairs I own. Are my instincts right about this one?

I don't see any red flags, but you need to post more pics please. Especially a CLEAR PROFILE PIC of the shoe standing on a flat surface.

As I stated earlier, please read this very informative thread:

Please authenticate thank you!

First is authentic
Second one looks okay but need a photo of the shoe's profile standing on a flat surface (not taken on an angle) and a close up of the stamp on the sole and insole for 100%
