Vintage Chanel scarf question:

I have one scarf from Italy where logo is sans serif and another scarf from Paris where there are serifs in logo. I have seen through ebay and blogs and what not and it seems as if vintage Chanel scarves are different in the corner logo based on whether they are made in Italy or France.

Am I right in my observation?

I have also read that some Chanel scarves are not hand rolled (both mine are) and still authentic. Right or wrong when it comes to vintage ones?

Could someone please help me authenticate this Cartier scarf?
I bought it from a wardrobe sale; the seller said she has clients in the corporate world and she buys stuff they no longer want and re-sells them. She had a lot of vintage items (nothing too high end) and had two Chanel items that she openly declared as not authentic, but everything else she had was authentic to the best of her knowledge (including this scarf).
Any thoughts? Thank you!
