Wow, when I looked at it during a previous post, I was convinced it was real (it looked like mine and it had the same order of markings). I didn’t know the marking order is different depending on the year the bracelet was manufactured, nor have I ever paid attention to how ‘fine’ or how ‘dark’ the hallmark was.

I was so curious to see my own (despite knowing its authenticity, as it was purchased at a Cartier boutique) so I had to remove it.

Having read radio_shrink’s post, I think they are bang on!!!!! Thank you for the very informative information.

I also took a couple pictures of my own while it was off if you would like another one to compare to.

Wonderful news! Sorry you had to go through all of that.

Now that it's resolved, I can say...does anyone else think it's funny that a 'famous music composer' was walking around for years wearing a fake? I wonder if she knew...must have done? I guess stars really ARE just like us!

I am so glad that you were able to get the money back! I am not sure if that composer got it in hand knowing it was fake, or the sellers swapped it with the authentic one... but the fake products I see almost everyday make me feel so upsetting... especially when I think about how the money can be used to support groups connected to antisocial groups.
