I don't know how nice Loewe's leather is and whether it's worth the money, but just design-wise, I prefer the Coach Andy. I like the embossed logo and especially the tassels. On the Loewe tote, those look a little weird. The short strap on the Andy is a downside for me, but it can be detached and replaced with a longer one, if need be.

The Coach Andy comes with both a short and a long strap. I had troubles uploading a pic so the only pic i could upload does not show a long strap but it exists.

Totally. and i love it when you can disconnect the strap you don't use and then switch. Not a biggest fan of sewn in longer straps.

Yep, me neither. I know it can be more secure to have the strap sewn onto the bag, especially if the bag is big and will get heavy when filled with stuff, but still. A detachable strap with good quality hardware is so much better.
