agree on the wear, but I still would picked the WOC if have to choose between the two (as my original reply). The reason is the color the material already determined it can not be an everyday bag and most likely will not hold value if in resale if to sell someday. So if going to lose money anyway, rather go for the much less expensive which is 35% less than the handbag style, so when lose, doesn't lose as much, and easier to sell since price point is much lower.

the handbag style is over $6,000 plus tax, at that price and buying from botique, I would had at least choose coco handle, or 2.55 255 mini for less (even I would not buy it either but it's leather is indestructible)

I have had multiple WOC and currently has 3, 1 hasn't been used, 2 been used every now and then and they still look like the day I got them.

if someone used a Chanel bag for 4 years straight, I think maybe only 2.55 aged calfskin can still hold up well.

so I still would say the WOC is the one I would choose if have to choose between the two.

Thank you for your input and experience sharing 😊. I totally agree with you about the price difference. But I really like the color and bags this size nowadays only come in lambskin. I've got a white leather everyday bag that's held up well so am not too worried about this dark beige. Plus it's not going to be my everyday bag and I won't be reselling it since it's a sentimental present.

I do really like the 2.55 reissue mini and considered rectangle mini as well, but they didn't have any in the colors I wanted (and I didn't want to wait another birthday 😁).

I'm in CA, but my SA helped me order this bag remotely from the Boston boutique. Here's the product code: A69900 B15557 NT476. Several boutiques had the medium classic flap version of this color when I was looking, but I had my heart set on the mini and luckily my SA came through! Hope yours is able to come through for you too!

Congratulations! The classic flap is THATS bag. I have the Maxi and would love to have a medium in lambskin with gold hardware. The classic flap is the one handbag that I will never part with.

My boutique has it in medium CF. I want it desperately (and I'm sure a price increase is looming) but I need to pay off the credit card bills my bag addiction has racked up this summer. 😭

Got this baby in Chanel in Italy!! It is smaller than a WOC but I love her shape. It is perfect for my daily essentials!

On that note, can anyone tell me what this style is called? The SA said it’s a credit card holder from this season but I can’t seem to find it on their web site.
