Hi Lulilu,

I bought mine in november of 08 and i have worn it around the house since it was too cold to wear it outside and it is really comfy for flip flops. i am really picky on flip flops and they dont hurt my feet when i walk around. i hopes this helps..... they r super cute!!!!

I think these are so cute but quite expensive and would invest if I thought they would be wearable for a few years, not just a season or two. What do you all think? Would you see yourself wearing these for quite a while? Or feel strange in say 2010? Thanks so much in advance for any thoughts!!

i don't think they will ever look out of fashion on the beach. i think they are so pretty but i just cannot wear them b/c i find them so uncomfortable

Try them on first to see if it's painful to you. I don't see them as trendy or classic. It's a matter of the individual whether they still see them as 'okay' to wear in 2010 and many years later. To me, yes, you can continue wearing them for as long as you like it.
