Almost a year since we saw it on the runway, how are y’all getting on with this bag? I am close to pulling the trigger on the larger size in brown canvas, with the orange strap. I tried on both sizes in the store, and I think the bigger one looks better, is easier to get into, and probably makes more sense to round out my mostly mini bag collection. But I’d love to hear from some of you early adopters on how you’re getting on with it.
I picked up the "orange" (aka: light tan that skews mildly in the warm/orange side. Decidedly NOT orange) version last November. I've only worn it once or twice since but I love it. I mostly wear it without the G buckle cinched.Did you find the larger size to be heavy on the shoulder? The hardware looks pretty substantial and I wonder how much weight it adds.
I had the GM Hermes Evelyn that I never wore because it was very heavy. I hate selling bags, but I had to let it go as it was collecting dust.
Thanks
I would agree that the medium version (the largest size) is much easier to get into than the smaller. That one is too small for me. This bag isn't THAT big. I have LV NF MM and GM along with a Speedy 35 - though I used to lean on the smaller side of bags. This feels like it splits the difference. Closer to my Chloe Marcie Medium
Regarding the hardware and overall weight - it's not bad - and I have the leather version.
I went into Gucci thinking I was buying the Navy Monogram and ended up with the Orange Leather. But I'm still having FOMO over the Navy Monogram. Thinking of picking it up this fall on my anniversary trip to Italy. I want to wear the leather version a couple more times to decide for sure. I love the leather and it's very special to me as I bought it on my first trip to Rome - but I also want a more "knock around" version as well. Kinda like my Neverfull.
