I'm totally in love with my Artsy it's elegant and feminine BUT if you have a lot of things in it the handle hurts on the shoulder!!!!:crybaby:
I love my Artsy too but the handle definitely hurt because I loaded that bag down. I had my friend cut it off for me and now use it with a replacement Pouchette Metis strap. I love my customized bag so much better now.

Glad you are more comfortable, but trying to wrap my head around someone cutting that gorgeous handle off of the Artsy....:amazed::amazed::amazed:

A friend of mine used to have an Artsy and had to exchange it twice because of canvas cracking. For me it´s too big and heavy. But it´s a beautiful bag nonetheless.

My Artsy GM is the best bag I have ever owned. The craftsmanship is unparalleled and it is feminine, yet is a workhorse. The handle sets it apart from any other and the interior proved to have the versatility of an everyday bag! In LVOE with my Artsy! [emoji177]

I have a love hate relationship with the Artsy lol. It's beautiful and so roomy but it's heavy and the handle isn't as comfy as my other bags' handles. I did break it in however...

That's interesting for me as I am waiting for a strap currently.
Did you hone down the clasp of the metis-strap? Because it is a little bit to small for the big rings of the artsy...
As the metis-strap is noch very broad I don't get how this hurts less.
Or did you just thread it though and clip it together so that it is doubled?
But why did you remove the original strap generally...there is no need to if used with another strap.

oh my, I would be in shock if someone came near my handle. I’m in love with the braided handle. So glad you love your bag now though :)

I've heard pros and cons on the Artsy. I'm looking at the Artsy Mono, but I'm afraid of the handle being too hard and uncomfortable. I use my Neverfull gm everyday, so I like bigger bags. Some have said the handle on the new Artsy bag is not as bad. I am torn on whether it's worth ordering this bag since I do not have a store nearby. Would love to hear from Artsy owners what your pros and cons are about this bag. Thank you!
I just received mine a few days ago, I am soo much in love with this bag. I also don’t have a store near me an had to order online. I did soo much research an watched tons of YouTube videos, also called LV about the strap an was told it is now rope with an additional hemp rope. It is soo soft an is completely shaped, no stiffness at all. The canvas is yummy soft an the interior is amazing, soo many pockets an a large zipper pocket I seem to like to carry mine in the crook of my arm an it weighs 8.5 lbs. I need to strengthen my arms so all is good. It doesn’t hurt at all in the arm or carrying on the shoulder. I hooked the dangle charm on the inside as I didn’t want the metal to scratch the exterior of my bag. This bag is perfect for me, possibly the most functional bag I’ve ever owned. I LUV my Artsy :). I call mine the pony express bag LOL, can hold everything I feel I need.
