Ariana Grande rushes into Cipriani Wall Street ahead of the 2014 Billboard Woman of the Year event on Friday afternoon (December 12) in New York City.

The 21-year-old singer skipped the red carpet at the event, but made an appearance on stage to accept her Rising Star Award. We hope to see her on the carpet tonight at Jingle Ball!

“I want to share this honor with two women who inspired me — not you, Frankie, I’m sorry,” Ariana said during her speech. “My mama and my nonna.

“I want to thank my mama for teaching me to work hard — and that behind every successful woman is herself,” Ariana added. “And I want to thank my nonna for taking me to my first audition and for teaching me to have compassion for the haters.”

You can tell sometimes just by looking at someone that they're going to be annoying and make you want to put a fork in your eye bc it would be less painful than being around them. That's how I feel like Ariana would be. She looks annoying and demanding and whiny. Nothing remotely attractive about her in any aspect.

It's been quite the year for Ariana Grande and she capped it off in style with a raunchy performance at Y100's Jingle Ball 2014 in Florida on Sunday.

The 21-year-old singer took to the stage at the concert in a plunging black bodysuit and thigh-high boots as she thrilled her fans with a sizzling performance.

Ariana tried to make her look a little more festive with a snowflake headband and furry wrist bands as she performed a selection of her hits including Bang Bang and Problem.
