(Emphasis mine) And this is the real pitfall to a large bag. It can get very heavy, very quickly.Update: I added my laptop in a slim leather sleeve to this ”carry” yesterday, and even though all I did was drive to my destination and carry it inside, I was reminded how heavy a B35 can be (no wonder the pre-loved ones often have stretched handles). I decided to carry a bottle of champagne separately.
What a dream bag, 35cm box raisin!! Please share an action picture if you bring it out, @gracekelly!I have read this as well. My 35cm box raisin has been sitting in the box for years. I thought about selling it because it was never worn, but then I think that one day I might want one that big. My usual choice for a Birkin is 30cm. I never had any issues about carrying a 35cm Kelly and do wear those. I never bought into the tiny bag craze in any event. IMO it is for the very young or the very petite. I also don't think a day bag should be stuffed so much that the shape is compromised.
BTW, when I did get a price for it a few years ago for the 35cm, I thought the offers were too low. It would be interesting to see if they are higher now.
Funny that you started this thread because I was thinking about the 35cm a few days ago and trying to give it a wear.
Yeah, I put the baguette and cheese in the B and the bubbly in another bag and I’m fairly well balanced as long as I’m not too thirsty(Emphasis mine) And this is the real pitfall to a large bag. It can get very heavy, very quickly.
