So... I keep reading that larger bags are coming back in favor. On the resale market new 35 cm Birkins are commanding a higher price than before.
My 35 cm Birkins have been put away for the last few years... am thinking of bringing them back.
Have you? And how do you feel about it?
Just curious.
If you feel comfortable wearing your 35B, why not pull it out & test the waters
I don't have any B's but I haven't stopped wearing my Kelly 35 in addition to my Lindy
Wear what you enjoy.. fashion & influencers don't overrule what works for me, JMO

I've been carrying my B35 all along...when my needs warrant its capacity...and sometimes just because I love its color

I have 30 and 35, and choose the size that best meets my carrying capacity requirements! I went through a phase of using the 35 less but that was because I would overpack it and it became too heavy to carry comfortably all day. Using a smaller bag forced me to be more disciplined. But as far as I’m concerned, although the 30 is probably my sweet spot in terms of size, the 35 never went out.

I never stopped wearing my 35s… but I’m surely a rare case. I still wear a Kelly 40 or Bolide 35 almost every day. From time to time, you may even catch me out with an HAC. I just love to schlepp around a lot of things and not have to fret about whether or not I have a sweater, an extra charger, a book to read, etc. And if we’re being honest, I could use the arm workout anyway.

If I need to carry more, then why not
But, I’m a wimp and dislike excess weight
So I do it when I’m not walking all day
@haute okole loves size 35, and although she is petite,
it looks fabulous
I love my 35s, especially when I travel. I carry EVERYTHING in my bags. Everybody in my family only wants to carry their phones. As a result, I carry whatever else they don’t feel like carrying, ie, water bottles, keys, make up, baby wipes, sanitizer, extra masks, wallets, left overs. 35s are what Birkins were really made for!

I wear what I want. As cute as it is, I am still not over at how tiny and useless my Mini Kelly is. The bags are there to be worn, and the best size for me in terms of actually carrying things is 28 or 32. I don’t care what the reseller premiums are or what is ‘coming back.’

The only upside of smaller bags is that celebrities are regular people stopped lugging their larger bags to events. Birkin 35s are not evening-wear, even if exotic leather or diamond-encrusted.

Life is too short to let Bag World dictate what you should be wearing.

I never stopped wearing my 35s either. My 32 HACs and 32 Kellys are my smallest bags. Besides the fact that I actually use a bag to carry things and I don't want any limits to what I carry, small/tiny bags are just NOT my thing!

Same for me, just add 5 to the B … I prefer to carry my B40 nearly everyday. Sometimes with more stuff, sometimes with less. I wear what suits me and my lifestyle and that’s it.

All of the sizing “trends” ebb and flow. When everyone has their “big” bags.. the fashion scene needs to sell more.. so the narrative that small bags are “it” comes around. People clamour to buy those… then taaa-daaaa it switches again.
I wear what I like, suits my needs and my body size. B35, Evelyne’s in GM & PM
