I just bought my first Rolex watch about a month or so ago, so I wear it everyday (except on weekends when I'm more casual). I live in a college town, so there is hardly any crime here. I don't worry about my Cartier jewelry or Rolex, because to be honest I don't think anybody knows what it is. I wear mostly long sleeves anyway because of the a/c at work so I doubt anybody notices what I'm wearing. But if I'm ever heading down to Denver, then I won't wear my Rolex, I'll wear my TAG instead.
We have numerous family members that live in Denver and no one has reported a huge uptick in assaults. We frequently visit and wear our Rolexes although we aren’t inclined to hangout in downtown, LoDo or Five Points at two in the morning.

I live in Queens,NY , and there was some shady people sitting on the steps next to my building. Then the landlord said someone stole a lock to the yard. I stopped wearing my Rolex then, and wore my Gshock for a few weeks. When things seemed back to normal, I wear my Rolex on a leather strap but I might wear my Gshock again in the near term just to alternate. If the economy gets worse, i'll wear my luxury watches way less and wear my good ole Gshock.

Haha I hear ya. We actually almost moved to LoDo (right across from Coors Field) when my daughter was in kindergarten, but at the last minute, my husband "got cold feet" and we didn't move. We lost our deposit (it was a rental), but back then, the schools in downtown Denver weren't very good. This was about 16 years ago, so I'm sure it's changed by now. LoDo has grown so much since then. But I definitely would wear my Rolex if I was heading to Cherry Creek. :graucho:

Hahaha. Been wearing my Apple Watch ever since the pandemic as I want to know my blood oxygen and make emergency calls. In fact, I've gifted a bunch of Apple Watches to family members and friends. Since mine is an Hermes Apple Watch, :P:biggrin::smile: sometimes I play around with the bands. But that's about it.

No, the pandemic changed my mindset about luxury goods. I still appreciate them, but rather not call unnecessary attention to myself. I don't plan to sell anything either. Perhaps my mindset will change when we enter better times.....

I'm tempted with the new Hermes Apple watch ... I may get one. I like edgier styles so this one appeals to me. View attachment 5610668
This band is on my "wishlist" also. I am trying to justify the price tag and wondering if the chains will scratch the Apple Watch. I am waiting for reveals, then I will decide for sure.

This thing is FIERCE.
