I've recently started becoming an SLG addict.. they're easier to justify bringing home than bags according to my DBF :D

- Fleur de Monogram bag charm

I'm looking at expanding my wallet collection, getting a mini pochette, maybe another cosmetic pouch and an agenda too... it's just too much fun to play around with it all!

I own 6 bags at the moment but I have way more SLGs. I really should count them but a lot of them are in their dust bags and haven't taken them out for a while:smile1:

Ladies, I need some advice. I recently got promoted and need something to store business cards. I was tossing up between the Vernis Amarante Business Card Holder or the Mono Key Cles/Pouch. Which one do you think would hold more cards? Thanks.

Canvas will hold more than Vernis for sure bc it's a more flexible fabric 👍

I just had to pass on a Vernis key holder for that reason - my key fob was too chunky for the Vernis but snaps up just fine in the Canvas

I think I'm equal between bags and SLGs, but most of my bags are from waaaay back in the day when I started buying LV, and then I went on about a 15 year break! Lol. So most of my SLGs are very recent purchases. Right now, I am definitely more addicted to SLGs than bags, and I hope it stays that way!

I agree- it's much cheaper to be addicted to SLGs instead of bags!

My current SLG collection consists of:

6 key holder in DE
6 key holder in Mono
Agenda MM in Mono
Trousse 23 in Mono
Trousse 28 in Mono
Emilie Wallet in DE
Emilie Wallet Mono
Mono key cles

Wish i would have found a lvoe for SLGs before purchasing my bags as i find myself using my SLGs more! Definitely want to add to my SLG collection!

Received my first SLG a couple of days ago, a cles in DE! Although I only own one SLG, I already have multiple on my wish list. I really do understand the addiction, I can feel myself getting pulled in lol! I'm aspiring to have collections as great as you guys someday :D

I think slgs are addicting because they are like a dirty little secret because they are inside your bag and nobody really sees them but you. They only get exposed for a quick minute and go unnoticed by most people. Plus you can buy a whole bunch and you don't have to worry about THE STARE or THE SIDE EYE. Lol......spoken from a true addict!

hahahha! and sometimes when i leave my bag open and my friends peer inside, i feel a little embarrassed that the price of those SLGs inside could be more expensive than my bag!! :D OOPs!

I have a business card holder in Taiga leather (I actually prefer the Amarante Vernis more but I don't need two!) and it holds way more cards than my DE key cles. If you're looking at the business card holder with the snap - my personal opinion is that it is so elegant. It also has a couple of extra pockets you can slip some cash or your id into. FWIW, I am an Executive Communication and Presence consultant - I am BIG on having a nice business card holder. I also think that $305 (current price) is very reasonable for this piece. One note: the Amarante vernis will show fingerprints. If that bothers you, consider getting something else (I have the Amarante vernis key cles and only use her for special occasions). HTH!
