I like vintage classic flaps in gold-plated hardware. Neutral on the current classic flaps. Nice to look at, but don't really feel a want or need for them. Honestly, I'm more interested in how people wear the bag with what outfits than just the bag itself.
Not a kelly girl. Too prim and proper for me. Also, I personally like the bag when it's closed and not left open, but then that would be a pain to open and close it while getting things in and out, so probably a no.
I prefer birkins, like them open and appreciate a slightly less uptight and structured silhouette.

noo, it’s fine to say neither all opinions are respected and valid
while I love both brands definitely both make me angry Chanel with their crazy price increase every year and Hermes with their game playing thing. I love them from afar and love finding good bags inspired on them.

I’ve been interested in buying the Teddy Blake but I’m not a fan of buying a bag online and they don’t sell it to my own country but maybe next time I go to USA i order my Teddy Blake and get it once I’m there.

Much prefer chanel.

The only bags I really covet from Hermès are the Birkin (which I would definitely not be offered because I've never shopped there before, but a girl can dream!), and the picotin (which I think is treated as a quota bag in my area, so same issue lol). No other Hermès bag styles speak to me, but I love how vibrant the colors are.

Chanel. The only Hermes that is even halfway nice looking to me is the Birkin but it needs a strap. It’s an informal bag, whereas the Kelly is much more formal looking and the strap looks out of place to me.

Meant to say I am more of a reissue buyer, but I would buy the classic flap with silver HW but they seem hard to find used. I can’t bring myself to spend full price for a bag. I can afford it but just can’t do it.

For a long time, the Kelly was my HG. And aesthetically I do still love the look of it. But the price, the fiddly straps, the whole drama of trying to get one, the "cult" of H, all has really turned me off the brand as a whole. And I never really thought the Chanel CF was my vibe, but lo and behold, my camera reissue is my most used bag atm.

If you look at each brand's aesthetic as a whole, H is definitely more minimal and Chanel is more feminine, so I guess each person skews towards one or the other based on their style preference. But then you add the whole branding and exclusivity into the mix I think it really peppers people's perceptions of the brands.

The question is a little confusing as the title asks which designer we prefer, but the bags listed aren't the only bag offered by them.
I answered poll based on title, not bag.
