Are you a Chanel or Hermes kind of person

From these two super prestigious and sophisticated brands. Which is more your style?

and in case you can’t afford those, do you look More for a contemporary bag inspired on the kelly or the Chanel classic flap?

im more into the Chanel Classic flap and definitely have my 2. Contemporary bags inspired on the classic flap.

Chanel is the 2nd most represented brand in my handbag collection but #1 is Dior because it better fits my aesthetic.

That being said, some days I’m a Fendi girl, somedays I’m a Chanel chickeroony, some days I’m a Gucci trail blazer and some days I’m a fill-in-the-blank just me. So I don’t know that I’m really any specific brand kind of person.

you got me really interested, which is your favorite from Chanel then ?
are you more into the more sophisticated and dressy side of the brand like the CoCo handle, the 2:55 and the Trendy CC or do you enjoy better it’s more edgy side like the Chanel 19 and the Boy bag.

I don't know which way to vote! I have pieces from both brands, but don't much care for either bag option. (I would, however, vote with great enthusiasm for either the Chanel 2.55 or the Hermès Passe-Guide.)

I'm more of a Chanel flap person but I much prefer Hermes low-key branding and feel all of my H items have superior leather and quality.

the 2:55 is gorgeous and I love that it’s understated and not everyone knows that bag is Chanel.it gives the bag a mystic aura.
that bag is a huge debate. many love it but many others think why spend so much on a bag that not everyone will see the brand.

ive been a reissue or a 30B person for years though, so not the choices in the poll, though I have owned them too
if you wear RTW from either brand, it’s fun to mix it up

Prob bout to get kicked off this forum for saying this but I am not impressed by either brand.
Chanel - the ones i tried on in the boutique looked & felt like plastic.
Hermes- aside from hating their methods, i find their bags bland

I own more Chanel. A few bags and mostly SLG's. I would be a Hermes girl for the Kelly. I don't have a Kelly yet - maybe never. I like Hermes shoes, scarves and jewelry.
