You got itI'm a big bag girl, even though most of the time 90% is empty I love the look of a larger handbag.
I used to be a big bag girl. Now small bags are more appealing to me for their dressy look on any event. I carry minimal items with me so big bags wont really be necessary.I'm a small bag girl. I just don't like lugging around a ton of things that I'd never end up using. I also don't like running into people and things and risk scuffing my bags, not to mention it looks silly lugging around a huge bag when you dine at a restaurant (and need a separate chair just for your bag lol). The biggest selling point of small bags for me is that they look very chic and can dress up any drab outfit.
For everyday practicality, I like somewhere in between big and small. A medium sized bag like my Balenciaga City fits me the best proportionally and can carry my everyday essentials plus a few more.
My rule of thumb is: small bags can have stiffer leather and be more boxy-shaped, but the bigger the bag, the softer and slouchier the leather has to be. Hence, the Hermes Birkin never appealed to me, although they look gorgeous on a lot of women![]()
yep, I can understand. What I love is a bag that I can choose to hand carry for style, and when the going gets rough, I can then sling it across my body and really dig into what I need to do!Small or medium.... Crossbody styles are my new go-to bags. I find it's so much more practical for me as I don't carry much stuff. So nice to go shopping and not be weighed down by a hand bag
