I have both but a medium size is my favorite! A medium size is not as common though. It seems SO often that bags are either too big or too small for me. When I find a nice medium size, I am thrilled!!

My rule of thumb is: small bags can have stiffer leather and be more boxy-shaped, but the bigger the bag, the softer and slouchier the leather has to be. Hence, the Hermes Birkin never appealed to me, although they look gorgeous on a lot of women :cool:

I used to be a big bag girl. Now small bags are more appealing to me for their dressy look on any event. I carry minimal items with me so big bags wont really be necessary.

Big bag not by choice currently. :P Having an 18mth toddler in tow I NEED a big bag!

But in saying that I do love big bags anyway. I am only a short 160cm 125lb girl, so I know that big bags technically do overcrowd me, but I dont care. I like the look of a big bag on me!! Perhaps because it makes my 28GG boobs look smaller?!?! :D Hahahahaha!

Medium works best for me.

As much as I love small bags, I really run short of space with very small ones. Always admire the ones who can carry the cute cross-body styles with only their essentials.

I used to be 100% tote girl, but didn't like digging around at the bottom of a deep pit looking for my things. The use of pouches really helps, though. I will only use a tote if we are going on longer day trips.

Small or medium.... Crossbody styles are my new go-to bags. I find it's so much more practical for me as I don't carry much stuff. So nice to go shopping and not be weighed down by a hand bag

I prefer smaller bags - less the bag, less to carry. Less baggage. Less weight.

I used to Have big bags but now I prefer to have a smaller bag. That's why I like to have a variety of sizes in my collection.

Medium is my fave for everyday, but I do go through phases of just carrying a small cross body for a week or two at a time. I've never been into BIG bags as everyday purses and probably never will ;)

yep, I can understand. What I love is a bag that I can choose to hand carry for style, and when the going gets rough, I can then sling it across my body and really dig into what I need to do!
