Are Burberry bags still worth it?

In the past it would have. But I’m actually actively working through meditation and yoga practice to find quiet and acceptance in chaos. And this unaligned bag is a reminder and challenge to the new me. I actually enjoy the chaos.

I definitely don’t think the quality has declined but I do think that brand is less popular than others. I don’t think they partner with instagram bloggers the way so many other brands do, and it’s just more understated. I think of Burberry as understated classic elegance and love my Burberry bags. I like that they aren’t everywhere. I have all the other ones too but there is something special to me about Burberry.

If you love it, buy it! I think it’s really cute

I saw one of those TB bags recently and thought it meant Tory Burch. I haven't paid much attention to the brand the last 5+ years. Also that tote is cute.

I thought the same thing when I saw it the first time too! Sometimes it still throws me . I know it was in honor of Thomas Burberry but it was confusing since it hadn’t been used in the past.

Just circling back to this thread to reiterate my point of not paying full retail price for Burberry bags. I just picked this Lola up at outlet for £552… £1000 less than retail price! Currently still finding this exact bag online for £1550.

I really liked the Banner bags they had out about 9 years ago which were mostly leather. I WISH they would produce their check pattern in more colors (purple and pink). Or made more items showcasing their cool knight logo. Seems like low hanging fruit to me.

That said, I bought a Mini Frances last year in purple croc and love it

I really like most of the bags Burberry have come out with in the last year. I love the hardware, the quality of the leather and the colours. Right now I like the Shield Twin. I just don't need any more bags.

I think I saw that Frances in store - gorgeous! The original Banner was a beautiful bag and the re-design was awful. My mum has a caramel brown one and I always drool over it.

Me too! I’m heading into London in a few weeks so going to check this out in store. Reminds me of my Ferragamo Studio bag a little.

I wonder whether the suede would be easy to care for?

I'm really not sure, I was wondering the same thing... I've never owned a suede bag. Please keep us posted!

Will try to take some pics! I noticed that the back of the bag is leather, which would really help with it not rubbing against clothing which would cause wear to suede a lot quicker than leather! The full leather versions look beautiful too.
