I'd be excited to see big bags back! Micro bags were amusing on a red carpet or so but not super useful and felt more like clutter to me. I appreciate a good card case or small wristlet but the microbags that look more like a child's "my size Barbie" accessory seems kinda "eh" to me.

Might be biased since big bags are most practical for me day-to-day since I commute via bus/train and live in an area with unpredictable weather so in addition to wallet, keys, phone, etc also carry an umbrella or hand-fan and a reusable water bottle and foldable shopping bags when running errands and my work padfolio and sometimes even my lunch and who knows what else is in here haha.
I SO hear you! My life is exactly the same - you have to be prepared for any kind of weather, carry everything you might need during the day in your bag plus work accessories, things needed for running errands, plus everything else and the kitchen sink.
The only way to survive a day with a small handbag is to carry most of your stuff in a backpack and put a card holder, phone and key holder in that said small bag, then look like a pack mule carrying both. (I do work the pack mule look quite a bit when I have to carry my laptop with me or when I'm traveling, so the joke's on me!)

Although I confess to having bought the micro trend, lock stock and barrel- I still carried large totes and basket bags most of the summer. The little bags, I carried for Saturday nights and for the odd wedding invite. ( and for that I kept a loaded canvas tote in the car)

Not a big bag person at this point in my life. The only big bag I have is my work bag, and my favorite bag in my collection is my Coach Cassie. It’s. Perfect.

When my children were younger, I carried a big bag. My go-to was the Juicy Couture Daydreamer in pink. As much as I hated big bags, life dictated that I carry one. Once my youngest entered third grade, I slowly began to get rid of them.

I was never a big bag person as I like for my things to fit tightly into my bag. Not a fan of the glorified coin purses playing the role of a handbag. I just need to carry the necessities and not be weighed down. It’s very freeing!

Now, I’m nostalgic for that Daydreamer. It was such a good mom bag.
