Item: Hermes Beach Towel . Suspect it is from the 1950's era.
It is 34.5 by 52.5 inches and is cotton. The Hermes label is sewn onto the back side of the towel (which is a plain white color) .

i saw this before...know nothing about vintage towels....I imagine thats why you did not get a response. I think it is probably authentic, this is not one of the items we see flooding the market incarnated as fakes...the motif is from couvertures et tenues du jour....a well known scarf design.

cannot pull up the first auction.

second one looks fake or damaged.
The picture are not good anyway, but I think it is a bad one.

third one is not pulling up correctly, but so far all I can see is a single picture which is off the Hermes website, so that is suspicious. How could anyone possibly authenticate for you if the picture is not even from the seller, but instead from Hermes?????

Please stick with reputable sellers, and try to limit your questions to one auction per post.

If the pictures in the auction are not good, we cannot help you and you should pass on the cuff. Best to stick with a reputable reseller or Hermes for this.
