Hi, I am a newbie to Hermes. Please help to authentic this.

Item: HERMES BEARN H WALLET

Comments: This wallet has a "S" mark on it. I understand this is b/c it's a sale item. May I know whether there are any downsides in buying "S" mark item? Ie. does it affect resale value if the future just in case I decide to let it go and does that mean there is any marks or stains on the item?? May I also know whether the price seems reasonable?

Sorry for the long-winded question but as I am still very new to H so would really appreciate your expertise. Thank you !!

So far the price is reasonable. A sale item is discounted, but should not be damaged. That being said, sometimes things get handled at the sales and the item may not be perfect as a new one at the boutique might be. And of course, there is the stamp, which puts some people off. I dont mind it in a wallet. It would affect the resale should you decide to sell it, a new sale item cannot be sold for the same price as a new item without such a mark, KWIM. And the price will go down much faster on a sale item if it is worn, scratched, etc. If the price stays low, you might nonetheless get a good return if you take good care of it and send it for refurbishing when needed.

I would pass on both of these. Especially the first one.
The clic clac I am not sure of, but I dont like the look of it. Try the reputable sellers list.
