Hello, I'm in search for a Black Birkin at a reasonable price and this one looks promising. Please provide your thoughts on its authenticity:

Item name:HERMES Birkin 30cm in Black Box

I actually did provide the background of the item as per post 1, it was in post #7256 and post #7314 which was the post just before the pictures.

Appreciate your time in looking at this belt for me and it certainly a relief to know that it's leaning toward authentic. :smile1:

Thanks P - due to time constraints, a very busy day job and other commitments, I can only dip in and out of this forum every so often and not every day, so apologies in advance .... When I do visit, it is easiest if I just find the one post with all the info in and hopefully reduce missing other requests.

Sometimes when having to go back a couple of pages to respond to outstanding queries, then responding means my posts appear a couple of pages later ... I then try and go back to where I was in the first place and inevitably miss other posts, sorry

Oh dear, I really hope I didn't sound like I was blaming you for not seeing it. Not at all.
I completely understand that everyone who are so generous to spend their own time to do the authentication on this forum are doing it from the goodness of their heart and I hope you know how much you and the other ladies have helped me and the rest of people who are buyers and Hermes novice.
I can imagine that it can't be easy having so many requests in one day.
I cannot express how grateful I am that you wonderful ladies are doing this.

No my dear, no telling off was felt at this end:hugs:, I was just trying to explain why it can sometimes be hit and miss on this thread and apologising in my initial thread in case I had missed your post with all the relevant details

Given the fact that we have very few authenticators in this thread, we are spending this limited time on people making personal purchases for their own use, and contributing members who use the forum for more than authentication requests.

There are paid services for authentication and they may be able to assist you if you are buying to resell, or authentication is your sole interest here.

Comments: I just bought this and feel like I might have been duped, trying to find out in time to return if it's not real! Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

What's throwing me off is after "Hermes" there's a little box with a symbol in it, however mine doesn't show that, mine shows an "R" and then the letter below is an M. I might be over thinking but is it a symbol in the box after Hermès, not a letter?! Also I feel like where it fits into the grove and stays in place feels loose.. I'm just really nervous!
