HowardU, it is possible that the seller just grabbed a box that the bracelet would fit in. The seller moves a lot of H, the bad box doesnt necessarily mean the bracelet is bad, but I would write the seller just the same and say the box does not appear authentic H which is leading you to question the bracelet. I do not own a clic clac and cannot be certain about that, but this is a reputable seller, so it may be worth at least a round of questions before returning the bracelet, KWIM?

ETA: the box "does not appear"

Just wanted to put your mind at ease that this seller has an outstanding reputation for selling authentic Hermes.

As to the box - who knows. It might be an older one or whatever. With another seller, yes the box would be a worrisome issue, but in this case I would say, don't get stressed out about the box, the clic clac will be good for sure.

Comments: I received this bracelet yesterday and I am concerned about the authenticity. The bracelet looks and feels just like the other clic clacs I have but the box looks fake to me. I noticed that the border is black and not brown, also the black line is not perfectly aligned to the side of the surface and the font is off. It looks like there was a sticker on the side of the box that has been ripped off.

But why would the seller put an authentic bracelet in a fake box? I think I need to return it. Any comments? Thanks in advance.
