IMHO, a train wreck (for the buyer) waiting to happen. Belts are VERY commonly faked--there are a gazillion bad ones out there at any time. Look at the seller's other offerings and you will see many H belts, using the same sets of pictures. Truly not a good feeling!

the pics are really taken from too far away to be certain, but if i had to guesss, I would say it is authentic, however I do not see the gussett, so I am ?? about that, and also, how did Hermes confirm this? Maybe it went for a cleaning...seller does not say.

the gusset would be along the long side of the coin section, and I do not see it in the pics...the little piece along the short side is not the gusset, all bearns have this. the gusset allows the whole zipped area to open wider. I do not see this....

you can search the pf for more on this gusset business.

^^^oops, the gusset is on the card section, after i had my coffee I realized I had it backwards. anyway, this wallet did not appear to have it, OY!!!

Hi,

I am new to this forum and was searching the internet for advice on how to spot fakes. I have a Hermes Wallet and have no idea if it is real or not. Here are some images of it:

What are the tell tail signs of a fake?

It has a card which has a three digit serial number on the rear, bottom left on the front it says Hermes Paris. It feels well built and looks well built.

Any Advice would be great.
