Very, very, nice ocean blue Arcadia. I wish that I could come across that style, I would get it. I have the color, but not the same bag. The Arcadia bags are actually difficult to find, and then, when found...very little choice in style or color. There is a black one that has been in the store around here for a few months. It has a flap over a zipper..(harder to deal with), and it is heavy just to start, because of the large metal snap of the flap. I have to pass on that one every time I see it, but it is very nice to look at.

They had this same style in black....but I think I made the right color choice.
Black is always classic and i think they will always make the black version....

.and i thought i might not find this color and style again...

I want to find more..they are hard to find. I wish I knew when they came into the store.

Arcadia is a very good brand in Italy. Hoping to not annoy you too much, i need to make an introduction: generally, in Italy, we have different districts specialized for the fashion goods. Generally (it is not a rule, you can have always the exception).
Just to give you an example, if I need to buy italian clothes for men... I mean original handmade italian clothes for men... the best location is the Naples area (have you ever heard about marinella tie? absolutely great). If I want to buy italian shoes, I will find my paradise in the Marche, a small region in the center of Italy. Regarding the leather bags, I think that one of the best area is the zone between Marche and Abuzzo. Arcadia factory is in this district, togheter with a lot of other producers.
In Tuscany, on the contrary, we have a district specialized in other products. Tuscany, and especially the Prato town district (Prato is a little town in Tuscany), is a little chinatown. The majority of the factories are actually owned by the chinese community that lives in Italy, I am not saying that their bags are not good, but sometimes... you are able to read in the italian newspaper about big confiscation of fake bags in that area... so.... you have to be carefull.
Italy is a little country, the majority of the original factories are small enterprises with a limited number of workers and a very limited numbers of bags produced every year. If your target is to trade a high quality product, handmade, you need time to develop it, you can't produce mlns of items for years. At the same time, this is a big limit because the big commerce channels are not interested in small numbers, and so it is hard to find those products.
I hope that my post is interesting, if I can help you, I live in Italy, I have a lot of friends that work in the fashion field and I have a deep passion for shoes and bags (i love them!!!!), so... also for other questions.... if i will be able to answer, it will be a pleasure for me.

I checked the handles of my Dark Green Patent Leather bag, with dark brown leather handles, and dark green leather bottom. The handles have not cracked, and I have carried that bag possibly the most in 10 years. I have LV, D & G, Gucci, Coach, and more. Nothing has been as perfect of a bag, as the dark green patent Arcadia.

I have said this before, and I will say it again. In comparison to the wonderful quality leather of Arcadia, and the price..It bothers me that LV, Burberry, etc..would use a PVC canvas (plastic), and be able to charge so much (and get it). Why does would a PVC canvas cost so much?
I know that this post is quite a few years old, but I was looking for info on Arcadia handbags and your post hit it right on the nose. I refuse to pay $100 + for a PVC handbag from MK, Coach, etc...when you can get excellent quality leather bag from Arcadia.
