Anything or everything about De Beers

Hi lovely ladies!

Some of you may have seen my post about me deciding between a couple of different wedding bands..

I also tried to search up on some threads about DeBeers and am surprised to find that there is no specific section for DeBeers like other jewellery brands - Tiffany, Cartier, etc, and there are also very few discussions about the brand.

My question for you ladies is, what do you think of DeBeers? How is their jewellery quality? I always purchased from Tiffany and other jewellery stores but if I decide on the DeBeers wedding band this would be my first item from them!

Are you planning on wearing the pave band 24/7? Pave is delicate and some people assert that it's not for daily wear. Some people are rough on jewelry, and depending on how thin the pave band is, it may not stand up to rough wear. Have you looked into having a pave setting made? Leon Mege made my e-ring years ago and it's in great shape; I just ordered a pave band from him. A lot of jewelers, however, don't favor thin bands, especially when covered with pave diamonds because it makes them weaker. I have heard that it's normal to lose stones over time with daily or rough wear. I only wear pave for evening/special occasions and wear my plain platinum band daily to the grocery store, work, cleaning, etc.

I’ve been checking out De Beers lately to add into my collection specifically the Talisman line. For those who are familiar with De Beers, what do you think of this brand and from which collection would you recommend people to get? If you have a piece/pieces from De Beers please share only if you are comfortable.
