Uh oh ... I kind of knew that Noix would be great when I first saw pictures; sadly though ... I think this bag would be the Bomb with the GGH (and you can only get that at Balenciaga ... BUMMER!!!!). I think I need to see the Poupre IRL to decide on that one! Thanks for the pics, Erica!!!

I agree, with GGH it would be awesome! Can't wait to see one IRL, I am hoping it doesn't look anything like truffle as I am not a fan of that color, more like sandstone would be terrific!

Here's the comparison between the Galet & Noix side by side...

My pic is probably a little closer...it was taken in natural night without flash. The above was indoors under fluorescent lights. This above pic has some chestnut tones which I'm not seeing IRL.

Can't wait for Noix's daylight photos. It does seem to be a cross between Galet and Truffle, weird bc I'm not a fan of Truffle at all.

My hopes is for a darker taupe, without hints of true brown. Murky taupe? I would love a shade of brown/taupe that looks "right" with black clothing. You know how some browns make black look funny?

thanks erica for the pics, noix looks life truffle, pourpre is redder than sanguine.
livia, the leather varies very much from one bag to another, i don't think all pourpre's leather will be a bit marbly.

I totally agree! There is so much variation from one bag to the next...I don't think it's really accurate to peg the leather of an entire color based on one bag.

Yes! Both were taken late in the day with natural daylight near a window. No direct sun, no flash.

this morning i've seen both colour IRL IN MILAN.... and poupre is just fabolous.(expecially with ggh)..a deep red very classy!! i love it
there was a rh city with mottled leather but there were also a a twiggy and midday with gorgeous and distressed leather

...noix is a bit warmer in daylight in my opinion,i am agree it is very similar to truffle 07...i still prefer galet
